Bulgaria’s National Institute and Museum of Archaeology Publishes New Issue of ‘Numismatics, Sigillography, and Epigraphy’ Review
Bulgaria’s National Institute and Museum of Archaeology in Sofia has released a new issue of its “Numismatics, Sigillography, and Epigraphy” Review.
This is the 13th issue of the annual magazine, one of the periodicals of the National Institute and Museum of Archaeology, a body of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
The magazine is in Bulgarian but features English-language contents and article summaries.
The Numismatics, Sigillography, and Epigraphy Review publishes articles and contributions about coins, coin hoards, seals, coin–like and epigraphic artifacts from the depots of public and private collections in Bulgaria or abroad, as well as from archaeological investigation in Bulgaria.
It also features survey, topical, and discussion works in the field of Classical and Medieval Numismatics and Sphragistics, Classical and Medieval Epigraphy, and all related problems in the field of archaeology.
The 13th issue of the “Numismatics, Sigillography, and Epigraphy” magazine of the National Institute and Museum of Archaeology in Sofia is dedicated to the 65th birthday of Bulgarian numismatist, Prof. Dimitar Draganov.
